WEEKEND UPDATE ... with the Rev

Ok guys, I'm gonna post our progress on this board. You've been asking so here it is...

T-Bone just finished tracking his phatwire bass tracks yesterday. Over the past week and a half T-bone and our evil producer laid down Mach Five Child, Seven Ways From Sunday and a super new track yet to be named. We're down to a few solos, vocal tracks and then we mix.

We just put in a new order with Ben for a whole shit-load of new merch. All new designs and yes ... hoodies too. Fashion will never be the same. This merch will be more popular than trucker hats, Farah Fawcett posters and the Paris Hilton sex tape all rolled into one!

Pondscum and Rodney are interviewing models for the album artwork photo shoot and the basic concepts are in motion. You're gonna shit when you find out who will grace the cover of the next underride album. All I can say is that nobody knew she lived in Seattle!

That's about all for now. Don't forget to call the Funky Monkey and request The Crusher. Lisa should be spinning that sucker this Sunday so tune in and CALL GOD DAMN IT!

Well Jesus fucking Christ ... just my luck! After living in this hell hole we lovingly call Seattle for ten years ... I have to spend my days in a rat infested dungeon while the rest of you fuckers play in the sun. This spring has got to be the best weather we've had in years! But I digress ...

Soooooo here's the poop for those of you who give a rat's ass, personally I've been doing a lot of time with the rats and they could care less. I just finished up vocals on the new Jane Fonda/John Kerry inspired All American God. This 10 minute block buster epic will make Inna-gadda-davita look like an info-mercial. Also, tracking on Mach Five Child, the blow inspired butt-rock anthem, has begun in earnest. As soon as the eight-ball shows up, we'll really start to get things done.

Finally, the new merch has arrived and the new designs look killer! Rock-horns go out to Ben and the boys at ScreenPrint NW who really out did themselves on this job. We'll have those up on the web 4-sale in just a few short days. Keep checking the web site for Dr. Pondscum's House of Ill Repute ... a place of style and intrigue!

That's about all for now. With the Apprentice finally over and the finally episode of Friends on the horizon ... I just might be able to get some work done. Pray for rain and stop reading this stupid board. Get a fucking life for Christ sakes!

It's in the cards and so is the final tracking for the next record. We're down to one last track and then we mix, master and ship it to HeL-LA for Cruefest coasters.

We're gearing up to over book ourselves this summer and play so many shows, you'll be begging us to stay the fuck home. Our current marketing strategy is to entice new fans with meat. That's right, we're taking a few pointers from Les Schwab's Tire & Meat promotion. We'll be offering summer sausage and haggis with the first 1,000 purchases of our record!
